Casiguran Water District Services
The services offered by Casiguran Water District is clearly enunciated by law, under Section 5 Chapter II, Title II of the PD 198, otherwise known as Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973, which reads in part – “ (a) acquiring, installing, improving, maintaining and operating water supply and distribution systems for domestic, industrial, municipal and agricultural uses for residents and lands within the boundaries of such district…”
The above stated law further states – “ conducting such other functions and operations incidental to water resource development, utilization and disposal within such districts, as are necessary or incidental to said purpose.”
At present, the District is serving 4,706 water concessionaires (as of Dec. 31, 2017) in the Municipality of Casiguran, Sorsogon. The District is also supplying in bulk to the Municipality of Juban ,Gubat Water District and Sorsogon City Water District.
