MDRRMO Equips CWD Employees with Life-Saving Skills
To enhance the employees’ life-saving capabilities in emergency medical situations, the Casiguran Water District (CWD), in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Casiguran, conducted a two-day Basic Life Support (BLS) at the CWD Corporate Office in Brgy. Central, Casiguran, Sorsogon, on April 25 and May 02, 2025.
The training team, led by Ms. Cecilia J. Manzanares, LDRRMO II, offered the CWD employees both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in BLS-CPR techniques. Participants were assessed through pre- and post-tests, which helped evaluate their progress and understanding of the training course.
In recognition of their achievements, the top performers were awarded medical kits as incentives for their dedication and commitment to learning.
In his message, GM Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada said, “This collaboration is impactful as it not only enhances the skills of our employees but also cultivates a culture of preparedness and safety in our agency and community”. He extended his gratitude to the MDRRMO training team and expressed hope for future collaborative efforts.
Ms. Manzanares also thanked the CWD for their active participation and expressed appreciation for the trust placed in their agency.
As a gesture of gratitude, GM Tejada presented certificates of appreciation to the MDRRMO team in recognition of their expertise and valuable contribution.
