CWD LAUNCHES IS0-QMS
Casiguran Water District launched its ISO-Quality Management System in a simple ceremony held at Aquador’s Hub, 3/F CWD Corporate Center on September 17, 2020. The program was highlighted with the unveiling of the District’s Quality Policy. Chairman Ruiz H. Jersey and GM Eduardo P. Tejada led the unveiling.
The ceremony, that started at 3 PM, attended by CWD Board of Directors and employees, is a requirement for the District to attain ISO certification. The District intends to acquire the status of being ISO-Certified before the year ends.
During the program, the ISO Core Team were duly recognized. The team is composed of GM Eduardo P. Tejada, Ralph Louie H. Rafer, Cecilio E. Habalo Jr., Leandro Duque and Norman M. Habla.
Chairman Ruiz H. Jersey led the BOD and the employees in signing the Commitment Tarp. The ceremonial signing signifies everybody’s commitment to play their respective roles as the District embark on an enhanced, world-class procedures, processes and practices.
The so-called ISO Journey of CWD started way back July 2019. Series of seminars and trainings were conducted by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as commissioned by Gov. Chiz Escudero to develop province wide Quality Management System for government agencies certifiable to ISO 9001:2015.
Mr. Samuel C. Rosal and Ms. Maria Veronica Angeles, DAP Project Officer and Seminar Facilitator respectively, gave their recorded video messages. Both expressed their congratulatory statements to the management and staff of CWD. They also committed to be of help as CWD continues its ISO Journey.
The ultimate end in view of being ISO-Certified is to continually improve the delivery of public services at par with the best in the industry.
