Casiguran Water District Successfully Passed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Re-Certification Audit
Casiguran Water District (CWD) has successfully completed a re-certification audit for ISO 9001:2015, a standard that focuses on ensuring that the Organization meet its customer and stakeholder needs while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to their product or service.
Conducted on March 11, 2024, by TUV-Nord Philippines, a reputable certification body, the audit covered nearly all of CWD’s processes. This included an on-site assessment at both the CWD main office and Site 1 at Orok Cold Spring Resort. The auditors were Mr. Niel Patrick Ordiales , Ms. Manilyn Trollano and Ms. Geraldine Manguiat
Commencing at 9:00 AM and concluding at 8:20 PM, the audit resulted to recommendation for the re-issuance of ISO 9001:2015 Certificate to Casiguran Water District. While the findings indicate areas where enhancements and improvements can be made, the general outcome reflects CWD’s proactive approach to quality management system.
ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates CWD’s commitment to continually improve its processes to provide safe, reliable, and quality water services to the residents of Casiguran, its adjacent Municipalities and City. It also underscores the district’s adherence to international standards in its operations.
In response to the audit results, CWD has committed to address promptly the identified areas for improvement. This commitment reflects the district’s dedication to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain high standards of service delivery.
