COA Holds Successful Exit Conference with Casiguran Water District

March 14, 2025 —The Commission on Audit (COA) held a productive exit conference with the Casiguran Water District (CWD) at Full View Restaurant in Bacon District today. The meeting aimed to address key audit findings and discuss the district’s performance in managing its financial resources.

Led by OIC-Audit Team Leader Mr. George D. Patacsil, the conference also included Ms. Maria Gabriela Francia B. Bio, State Auditing Examiner II, and Ms. Cherry B. Bellen, Accountant III, who presented the audit results and offered recommendations for further improvements.

The CWD team, led by General Manager Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada, along with CWD Accountant Mr. Ralph Louie H. Rafer, CWD Cashier Mr. Leandro H. Duque, Mr. Cecilio E. Habalo Jr., CSO-A, and Ms. Ivy Magas, Accounting Clerk, actively participated in the discussions and outlined steps for implementing the suggested improvements.

The exit conference is a vital part of the audit process, providing CWD with an opportunity to respond to findings and address any concerns before the final audit report is issued.

The successful conclusion of the exit conference marks another step towards improved financial practices and service delivery for the Casiguran Water District. The district remains committed to maintain high standards of governance and operational efficiency.
