LOCAL BARANGAYS COMMENDED CWD FOR SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
Monday, October 21, 2024 — The Sangguniang Barangay of Timbayog has expressed its gratitude to the Casiguran Water District (CWD) through a formal resolution and certificate of appreciation, recognizing the successful completion of water infrastructure projects in Purok 3 and Purok 7.
The resolution, titled “Resolution Acknowledging the Improvement and Installation of Water Pipelines at Purok 3 and Purok 7, Barangay Timbayog, Casiguran, Sorsogon, and Commending Casiguran Water District for its Continued Efforts to Address the Water Needs of its Concessionaires,” highlights the district’s dedication to improving water supply and services.
The expansion and rehabilitation project at Purok 7 involved the installation of a 2-inch P.E. pipe, covering 1,020 linear meters from the tapping point, at a total cost of P240,991.63. The project, which was fully funded by CWD corporate funds, started on August 6, 2024, and was completed on September 3, 2024. Similarly, at Purok 3, an additional 360-meter 2-inch distribution line was installed, costing P93,574.56. This project, also funded entirely by CWD corporate funds, began on March 18, 2024, and was completed on April 3, 2024. Both projects were designed to enhance water supply to households and upgrade existing pipelines in the areas.
In addition, the Sangguniang Barangays of Lungib, Ponong, and Tulay had previously issued resolutions by way of expressing their gratitude to Casiguran Water District for the expansion or rehabilitation projects undertaken in their respective barangays. This recognition highlights the collaborative efforts between the water district and local public officials in promoting sustainable water management practices.
Casiguran Water District, led by General Manager Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada and the Board of Directors expressed gratitude for the recognition and support from the Sangguniang Barangays and residents. These resolutions underscore the district’s commitment to improve water access and infrastructure, ensuring a clean and substantial water supply that meets residents’ needs and ultimately enhances the community’s quality of life.
