CWD CELEBRATES 33rd FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
The Casiguran Water District celebrates 33rd Founding Anniversary on October 11, 2021 at the Casiguran Water District Corporate Center. BOD Chairman Ruiz H. Jersey and GM Eduardo P. Tejada led the celebration. Thirty Three (33) long years of “Serbisyong Bulahos para sa Gabos” is indeed worth celebrating for.
A thanksgiving mass, presided by Fr. Joel Bilan, was celebrated at the Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Church at 8:00 o’clock in the morning. Fr. Bilan talked about the importance of water and its sources, considered as vital need for life to exist. The sustaining, maintaining, protecting, developing and restoring the District water source, Orok Spring, is important in providing a reliable water system and delivering quality water, Fr. Bilan said.
It is good to note that the CWD has been consistent in implementing watershed protection program even amidst the pandemic. The commitment to provide reliable, affordable and safe water while protecting the source and the environment has always been the management’s top priority.
The current pandemic that goes with government’s regulations on gatherings, the management made sure that all health protocols are observed. The celebration was conceptualized, planned and implemented by the management with the safety and welfare of all in mind.
After the Eucharistic Celebration, a simple gathering was held at Aquador’s Hub. Groceries and giveaways were likewise given to the first 33 CWD customers of the day.
Chairman Jersey said in his message that the District will remain vibrant, always improving, utilizing innovative ideas and will continue to provide quality services to its customers – internal and external.
