ISO JOURNEY CONTINUES

Last August 18-20 and 24- 25, 2020 the ISO Journey of Casiguran Water District continued. The topic: Workshop on Auditing Quality Management System (QMS). It was done via virtual sessions using Google Meet application.

Casiguran Water District endeavors to be ISO certified before the year ends. Being included by the provincial government to undergo trainings and seminars on ISO-QMS for free, that started last year and was hampered only due to the pandemic, the District is true to its resolve to acquire the much coveted ISO Certification. The end in view of the certification is to enhance the delivery of public service thru quality management system.

The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) was commissioned by Gov. Chiz Escudero to conduct the trainings to selected Local Governments, Small and Medium Enterprises and GOCCs in the province. The marching order of the Governor: Development of province-wide Quality Management System certifiable to ISO 9001:2015 standard for the Province of Sorsogon. Mr. Arnel Nunez and Ms. Ma. Veronica Angeles were the competent speakers for the last three series of seminars.

The last two ISO-QMS virtual seminars were conducted last July 7-10 and 13-14, 2020, with the topics: Training Course on ISO 9001:2015 and Auditing Management System respectively.
