CWD PARTICIPATES ANEW AT THE ANNUAL BRIGADA ESKWELA

From May 20 to 25, 2019, the annual Brigada Eskwela, also known as National Schools Maintenance Week, which aims among others, to prepare physical facilities of public schools for the coming opening of classes, receives support from various sectors of the municipality. The Casiguran Water District did send its employees, particularly from Technical Section, as headed by Simeon Haboc, to be of help and be part of the said noble endeavour.

With the theme, Matatag na Bayan para sa maunlad na Paaralan, the annual Brigada Eskwela brought together all education stakeholders who willingly and wholeheartedly gave their time, efforts and resources to make our public schools truly conducive to learning.

The CWD personnel fixed plumbing installations of schools, replacing damaged fittings for free. Water supply in schools is of vital importance to school children.

CWD participated in a total of 12 public schools in Casiguran, namely – San Juan Elem. School, Boton Elem. School, San Juan National High School, Casiguran Technical Vocational School, Sta Cruz Elem School, Casiguran Central School, Rizal Elem. School, Tiris Elem. School, San Antonio Elem. School, Banawang Elem. School, Trece Martires Elem. School and Escuala Elem School.
